Assynt Office Services is located in beautiful north west Sutherland, 110 miles north west of Inverness, and 45 miles north of Ullapool. We are based in the scenic coastal township of Balchladich on the Stoer peninsula, a stone's throw from the beach.
Directions from Inverness : -
Follow the A9 north across the Kessock Bridge
At Tore roundabout, take the A835 towards Ullapool
Continue to the next roundabout at Maryburgh, taking the A835 turn off to Ullapool
Stay on the A835 through Contin and Garve, past the dam at Aultguish and alongside Loch Glascarnoch reservoir until you reach Ullapool.
Turn north as you come into Ullapool, staying on the A835 until you reach the Ledmore junction just past Elphin.
Take a left onto the A837 to Lochinver. Follow the road alongside Loch Assynt. Just before Lochinver, turn right onto the B869 single coast road leading to Stoer and Drumbeg.
Follow the coast road past Torbreck, Clachtoll and Stoer, then take a left at Rhu Stoer Hall (signpost to Raffin and Stoer Lighthouse). Then take the first road on the left, just before Stoer Primary School, to Balchladich. Follow the road towards the beach. You will find us on the right, overlooking Loch Clashmore. There is a sign at the gate.
