Kirsty MacLeod has a wealth of experience in business administration.  

After growing up in Edinburgh, Kirsty spent nearly 10 years working in the field of investment management in the city before moving to Assynt in 1997 to run the office of an independent salmon farming company near Drumbeg.  With family roots in the Western Isles, she has always felt very much at home in the north west Highlands.  

Progressing to the position of Deputy Manager at Ardvar Salmon (now part of Loch Duart Ltd) she left the company in 2004 to start up Assynt Office Services, with her former employer becoming one of the very first clients during the take over period.

With a varied client base of local people, businesses and community organisations, Kirsty combines this work with running a laundry business in Ullapool, helping with her husband Campbell's boat trip business and bringing up their two boys.
