AOS's Kirsty MacLeod has been Secretary/Treasurer to the group since 2004, during a period of major change in land ownership and closer scrutiny of land management.
North West Sutherland Deer Management Group
Kirsty was appointed as Secretary/Treasurer of this group in 2018. Duties include arranging and minuting meetings, communication and website updates.
West Sutherland Fisheries Trust
WSFT is a registered charity established in 1996 to maintain and restore native fish populations. Assynt Office Services provides payroll and bookkeeping services.
North Assynt Estate was purchased by the crofters in what was the pioneering community land buy-out in 1993. AOS provided crofting administration services for a number of years, and continues to manage the payroll. Kirsty also set up the new website.
Community Sports, Youth and Learning Centre in Lochinver. A business and registered charity, run for the community by the community.
Kirsty was a Director and Treasurer of Assynt Leisure Ltd from 2015-2018, and continues to assist with accounts and workplace pension on a voluntary basis.
Waterloo Lodge & The Hideaway
Luxury 5 star self catering accommodation with stunning views over Lochinver and the mountains beyond. Assynt Office Services managed bookings and enquiries, as well as the payroll, for its first five years of operation.
Community run organisation providing local transport and day trips with their own minibus. AOS set up the website, now managed by Connect Assynt.
Robin Noble
AOS assisted naturalist, ancient woodlands expert and writer Robin Noble with proofreading, editing and layout of his Castles in the Mist : The Victorian transformation of the Highlands, recently nominated for the Saltire Award, and his more recent book Sagas in Salt & Stone: Orkney Unwrapped.
Coigach-Assynt Living Landscape Partnership
A unique community partnership project which aims to bring environmental and economic benefits to the Coigach and Assynt region of north west Scotland. Assynt Office Services has previously provided research, editing and proofreading services.
Established in advance of the community land buy-out of the Glencanisp and Drumrunie Estates in 2005. AOS was involved in the initial community consultation and various research projects following the buy-out.

With workshops in Lochinver and Ullapool, this renowned pottery offers handmade giftware, tableware and cookware, and bespoke tile panels. Kirsty worked part time as an assembler from 2015-2019, mainly working with cups, jugs and teapots, as well as assisting with newsletters, Data Protection, and production spreadsheets.

AOS provided PR & marketing services, website management and general administrative support for this award winning boutique hotel and Michelin Star restautant in Lochinver until its closure. It is now run as a luxury B&B.
Currently in the process of being redeveloped following its sale, AOS provided PR & marketing services for the previous owners of the lochside dining pub located where the river Inver meets the sea.
